Chimrani is a small village of 468 hectares in Nagaur Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chimrani depends on Nagaur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chimrani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Chimrani's pin code is 341001[4], and village code is 01807800. The area of Chimrani is segregated as 345 hectares unirrigated, the 10 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 113.43 hectare area not available for cultivation.
