Chimanpura is a small village of 378 hectares in Shahpura Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chimanpura depends on Kotputli, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 9.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chimanpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chimanpura's pin code is 303103[4], and village code is 01448900. The area of Chimanpura is segregated as 39 hectares irrigated area, 294 hectares unirrigated, the 45 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kotputli and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
