Chilawa is a small village of 109.4 hectares in Kaiserganj Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chilawa depends on KAISERGANJ, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Chilawa's pin code is 271903[4], and village code is 06532500. The area of Chilawa is segregated as 51.95 hectares irrigated area, 1.72 hectares unirrigated area. the 0.73 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 1.34 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KAISERGANJ and Bahraich to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
