Chiksi is a small village of 584 hectares in Chittaurgarh Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chiksi depends on Chittaurgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 133.60% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chiksi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chiksi's pin code is 312613[4], and village code is 03610300. The area of Chiksi is segregated as 133.6 hectares irrigated area, 199.72 hectares unirrigated, the 133.42 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 115.43 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Chiksi is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1626 and has total administration over 372 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chittaurgarh and Chittorgarh to sell earthen pot and make their living.
