Chheepasariya is a small village of 998 hectares in Fatehgarh Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chheepasariya depends on JAISALMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chheepasariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chheepasariya's pin code is 345027[4], and village code is 02076600. The area of Chheepasariya is segregated as 598.81 hectares unirrigated, the 354.35 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 45.18 hectare area not available for cultivation.
