Chhawa is a small village of 248 hectares in Lalsot Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chhawa depends on Lalsot, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chhawa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chhawa's pin code is 303504[4], and village code is 01442800. The area of Chhawa is segregated as 92 hectares irrigated area, 71 hectares unirrigated, the 19 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 28 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Lalsot and Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
