Chhau is a small village of 1286 hectares in Udaipurwati Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chhau depends on Jhunjhunu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chhau is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chhau's pin code is 333305[4], and village code is 00745500. The area of Chhau is segregated as 803 hectares irrigated area, 356 hectares unirrigated, the 91 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 36 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Chhau is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2470 and has total administration over 430 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
