Chhataini is a small village of 1046 hectares in Naraini Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chhataini depends on Naraini (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply which is 30.00% of the total supply, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Chhataini's pin code is 210129[4], and village code is 04846500. The area of Chhataini is segregated as 608 hectares irrigated area, 60 hectares unirrigated area. the 68 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

The village is connected with a single bus service. Chhataini has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Naraini (NP) and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
