Chhapar is a small village of 1169 hectares in Neem-Ka-Thana Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chhapar depends on Neem ka Thana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 200.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chhapar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Chhapar's pin code is 332708[4], and village code is 01750400. The area of Chhapar is segregated as 288 hectares irrigated area, 351 hectares unirrigated, the 137 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 76 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Neem ka Thana and Sikar to sell rope and make their living.
