Chelsea Pottenger is an Australian wellness expert, mental health advocate, keynote speaker and author with a passion for helping individuals achieve a balanced and fulfilling life. She is the founder and speaker of EQ Minds, a global wellness coaching company that offers workshops, keynote sessions, and corporate training programs to help individuals and organisations improve their mental health and wellbeing.[1]

Pottenger obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Wollongong in 2002[2].

Personal life

Pottenger has a personal connection to mental ill health, having experienced postnatal depression after the birth of her daughter. She has been open about her struggles with the condition and has used her platform to raise awareness of postnatal depression and the importance of seeking support.[3]

Advocacy

In addition to her work with EQ Minds, Pottenger is an ambassador for the R U OK? campaign, a non-profit organisation that aims to prevent suicide by encouraging people to have open and honest conversations about mental health[4]. Pottenger is also an ambassador for the Gidget Foundation Australia, a non-profit organisation that provides support and resources for expectant and new parents experiencing perinatal depression and anxiety.[5] Through her ambassadorship, Pottenger works to raise awareness of perinatal mental health issues and promote access to vital support services.
