Chawandpura is a small village of 509 hectares in Nainwa Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chawandpura depends on UNIARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 101.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chawandpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chawandpura's pin code is 323801[3], and village code is 02714400. The area of Chawandpura is segregated as 373 hectares irrigated area, 42 hectares unirrigated, the 31 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 63 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of UNIARA and Bundi to sell juggery and make their living.
