Chawandiya is a small village of 2048 hectares in Kheenvsar Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chawandiya depends on Nagaur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chawandiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Chawandiya's pin code is 341001[4], and village code is 01822300. The area of Chawandiya is segregated as 1719.84 hectares unirrigated, the 63.94 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 264.48 hectare area not available for cultivation.
