Chauraliya is a small village of 1275 hectares in Baytoo Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chauraliya depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chauraliya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Chauraliya's pin code is 344034[4], and village code is 02106000. The area of Chauraliya is segregated as 1264 hectares unirrigated, remaining 10.88 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell woolan blanket and make their living.
