Early Life

He was born into a Kurmi family in the village of Gaddopur, Ambedkar Nagar, on November 2, 1948. Upon completing his studies, he pursued a career as an engineer and secured a position in the government sector. He entered into matrimony with Sobhawati Verma.

Political Career

Meeting Kansiram

In the pursuit of establishing a social justice movement in North India, Kanshi Ram crossed paths with a like-minded individual named Chaudhary. Their mutual vision of eradicating caste-based discrimination and social injustice culminated in the formation of the Bahujan Samaj Party, a mission in which Chaudhary made his most remarkable contribution. With unwavering dedication, he tirelessly worked towards this cause in the Ayodhya region. Chaudhary joined forces with Kanshi Ram during his youth, committed to combating social inequality and caste exploitation prevalent in society.

Formation of Apna Dal

Despite his efforts to achieve social equality through the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Chaudhary realized that his vision was not going to be fully realized within the party. Therefore, he and his long-term friend and political colleague Sonelal Patel departed from the BSP and decided to establish a new political party called Apna Dal. Unfortunately, Chaudhary was afflicted with Tuberculosis during this time and had to be admitted to SGPGI hospital in Lucknow. Despite his illness, he appointed Sonelal Patel as the founder and President of Apna Dal while assuming the position of Chairman of the High Power Committee.

Death

Chaudhary's battle with Tuberculosis was prolonged, and he was undergoing treatment at SGPGI Hospital in Lucknow. Tragically, he succumbed to the illness on December 19th, 2000. Even in his final moments, Chaudhary remained deeply committed to the betterment of society.
