Chatawati is a small village of 666 hectares in Rashmi Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chatawati depends on Kapasan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 49.09% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chatawati is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chatawati's pin code is 312203[4], and village code is 03533900. The area of Chatawati is segregated as 49.09 hectares irrigated area, 366.12 hectares unirrigated, the 213.04 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 37.67 hectare area not available for cultivation.
