Chatar Pura is a small village of 80 hectares in Dungarpur Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chatar Pura depends on Sagwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 6.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chatar Pura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chatar Pura's pin code is 314032[4], and village code is 03336800. The area of Chatar Pura is segregated as 16 hectares irrigated area, 26 hectares unirrigated, the 18 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 20 hectare area not available for cultivation.
