Chase Matthew is an American country music singer-songwriter signed to Warner Music Nashville. He first signed to Upchurch (musician) Holler Boy Records label[1] and released the song "County Line" that was his first mainstream success, peaking at number 29 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.[2] He followed the song up with a six song EP titled the same name that spawned the hit "Pull Up".
Music Career
Chase began uploading unfinished music and covers in 2018. He released his first real debut song "Nashville Crazy"[3] in April of 2019. After a few more releases, he caught the eye of country rapper Upchurch (musician), and in June of 2021 Ryan signed Matthew to his new independent record label Holler Boy Records. His debut song for the label "Country Line" debuted and peaked at number 28 on the Billboard charts Hot Country Songs chart and peaked at number 12 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart.[4] A month later, he released his debut EP "County Line" that featured a second hit "Pull Up" that currently has over 19 million streams on Spotify. Matthew released his debut studio album "Born For This" on February 11, 2022 that debuted at number 31 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and at number 2 on the Top Heatseekers.[5]Matthew signed with Warner Music Nashville in October of 2022 and released his debut song for the label, "She Loves Jesus".
