Charlotte Poppy Jade (born 19 April 2008), known professionally as Charlotte Jade, is an English-German singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Liverpool, before moving to Busselton, she developed a passion for music from a young age, and began writing songs as young as 10. In 2024, Jade eventually released her debut single, Messin' (With My Head).
Early life
Charlotte Poppy Setzkorn was born in Liverpool on 19 April 2008. The only child of doctor, Jess, and computer scientist, Christian. Her mother was born in Hexham, England, whilst her father was born in Potsdam, Germany. She attended Carleton House in Liverpool. She demonstrated an interest in music from an early age, and began writing songs at age 10.
Career
2024-present: Career beginnings and Messin' (With My Head)
At age 16, Charlotte wrote and recorded her debut single Messin' (With My Head), Which released onto streaming platforms on 25 April 2024.
