Chariyala is a small village of 217 hectares in Simalwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chariyala depends on Dungarpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and One spring. Chariyala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chariyala's pin code is 314406[4], and village code is 03368600. The area of Chariyala is segregated as 20 hectares irrigated area, 121 hectares unirrigated, the 5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 71 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dungarpur to sell ghee and make their living.
