Charda is a small village of 320 hectares in Ghatol Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Charda depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Charda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Charda's pin code is 327023[4], and village code is 03393100. The area of Charda is segregated as 137.59 hectares irrigated area, 93.07 hectares unirrigated, remaining 59.08 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Charda is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2314 and has total administration over 473 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell basket and make their living.
