Chandwar is a small village of 1098 hectares in Deoli Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chandwar depends on Nainwa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chandwar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chandwar's pin code is 304026[4], and village code is 02672800. The area of Chandwar is segregated as 188 hectares irrigated area, 688 hectares unirrigated, the 118 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 103.78 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nainwa and Tonk to sell ghee and make their living.
