Chandro Diya is a small village of 85 hectares in Simalwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chandro Diya depends on Sagwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and One spring. Chandro Diya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chandro Diya's pin code is 314030[4], and village code is 03369100. The area of Chandro Diya is segregated as 3 hectares irrigated area, 42 hectares unirrigated, the 12 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 28 hectare area not available for cultivation.
