Chandrakh is a small village of 4097 hectares in Osian Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chandrakh depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chandrakh is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chandrakh's pin code is 342303[4], and village code is 01938600. The area of Chandrakh is segregated as 497.38 hectares irrigated area, 3116.28 hectares unirrigated, the 383.59 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 99.98 hectare area not available for cultivation.
