Chandra Road is a small village of 242 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chandra Road depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chandra Road is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Chandra Road's pin code is 327001[4], and village code is 03438100. The area of Chandra Road is segregated as 10 hectares irrigated area, 122 hectares unirrigated, the 22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 88 hectare area not available for cultivation.
