Chandpura is a small village of 886 hectares in Sepau Tehsil in Dholpur district, also known as the land of red stone in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chandpura depends on BARI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chandpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chandpura's pin code is 328023[3], and village code is 01115300. The area of Chandpura is segregated as 45.09 hectares irrigated area, 139.11 hectares unirrigated, the 103.93 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 598.3 hectare area not available for cultivation.
