Chandesara is a small village of 1782 hectares in Pachpadra Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chandesara depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chandesara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Chandesara's pin code is 344034[4], and village code is 02134800. The area of Chandesara is segregated as 1489 hectares unirrigated, the 199.76 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 93 hectare area not available for cultivation.
