Chandelao is a small village of 2446 hectares in Bilara Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chandelao depends on Pipar City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chandelao is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chandelao's pin code is 342027[4], and village code is 02008600. The area of Chandelao is segregated as 2222.88 hectares unirrigated, the 20.03 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 202.68 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Chandelao has One post office (Chandelao B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Chandelao is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2201 and has total administration over 401 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pipar City and Jodhpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
