Chandawal is a small village of 3690 hectares in Sojat Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chandawal depends on Sojat, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 414.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chandawal is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chandawal's pin code is 306306[4], and village code is 02419100. The area of Chandawal is segregated as 476 hectares irrigated area, 1738 hectares unirrigated, the 804 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 672 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sojat and Pali to sell ghee and make their living.
