Chand Sama is a small village of 4585 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chand Sama depends on Pokaran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Chand Sama is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chand Sama's pin code is 345021[4], and village code is 01970900. The area of Chand Sama is segregated as 645 hectares irrigated area, 3593 hectares unirrigated, the 243 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 104 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Chand Sama is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1802 and has total administration over 319 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pokaran and Jodhpur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
