Chandler Shane Marsteller (born July 9, 1995) is an American freestyle wrestler and graduated folkstyle wrestler who currently competes at 79 kilograms. [1] He recently became a member of the 2023 United States World Team when he defeated Olympic gold medalist Jordan Burroughs in two out of three matches at the Final X event in Newark, New Jersey to make his first ever Senior World Team.[2][3]
Before his recent freestyle success, Marsteller was a very accomplished folkstyle wrestler. Amassing a record of 166-0 and becoming a four time PIAA champion for Kennard-Dale High School. [4][5] He followed his high school success by becoming a two time All-American for Lock Haven University. [4]
He now competes for the New York City Regional Training Center (NYCRTC).
