Chanana is a small village of 851 hectares in Rajgarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chanana depends on RAJGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Chanana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Chanana's pin code is 331023[4], and village code is 00587800. The area of Chanana is segregated as 736.15 hectares unirrigated, the 82.08 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 33.17 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RAJGARH and Churu to sell ghee and make their living.
