Champawasi is a small village of 650 hectares in Ratangarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Champawasi depends on RATANGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Champawasi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Champawasi's pin code is 331022[4], and village code is 00647200. The area of Champawasi is segregated as 589.2 hectares unirrigated, the 46.35 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 14.06 hectare area not available for cultivation.
