Champasar is a small village of 4931 hectares in Phalodi Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Champasar depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Champasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Champasar's pin code is 342312[4], and village code is 01924100. The area of Champasar is segregated as 4773.15 hectares unirrigated, remaining 158.26 hectare area not available for cultivation.
