Chamawali is a small village of 525 hectares in Indragarh Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chamawali depends on LAKHERI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 164.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chamawali is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chamawali's pin code is 323603[3], and village code is 02739300. The area of Chamawali is segregated as 164 hectares irrigated area, 85 hectares unirrigated, the 27 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 98 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of LAKHERI and Bundi to sell bricks and make their living.
