Chaktiya is a small village of 207 hectares in Dungla Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chaktiya depends on Kanor, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 15.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chaktiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Chaktiya's pin code is 312024[4], and village code is 03638000. The area of Chaktiya is segregated as 25.34 hectares irrigated area, 89.89 hectares unirrigated, the 67.38 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 24.78 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kanor and Chittorgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
