Chainpur is a small village of 1037 hectares in Karauli Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chainpur depends on KARAULI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 75.94% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chainpur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Chainpur's pin code is 322241[4], and village code is 01223100. The area of Chainpur is segregated as 75.94 hectares irrigated area, 336.6 hectares unirrigated, the 150.68 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 182.21 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Chainpur is a census village in the district of Karauli, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3991 and has total administration over 731 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Karauli to sell earthen pots and make their living.
