Chai Chhupra is a small village of 220 hectares in Bairia Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chai Chhupra depends on RANIGANJ, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply which is 50.00% of the total supply, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Chai Chhupra's pin code is 277216[4], and village code is 09300700. The area of Chai Chhupra is segregated as 50 hectares irrigated area, 150 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 20 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Chai Chhupra has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RANIGANJ and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
