Cemil Kazancı, (born in 1961, Istanbul) is a Turkish businessman, chairman and CEO of Kazancı Holding.[1]
Career
Kazancı started his career in family business. Initially holding managerial positions in the generator production and sales sector, Kazancı later played an active role in the establishment of Aksa Energy in 1997 to expand the group's activities in the energy sector and generate electricity.
In addition to serving as the chairman of the board and CEO of Aksa Energy, Cemil Kazancı holds the positions of chairman and CEO at Kazancı Holding, and as a board member in group companies.
As of 2023, Kazancı Holding, headquartered in Istanbul, operates on four continents with over 10,000 employees. The holding, conducting sales in 178 countries, is active in 25 countries.[2]
One of Turkey's leading energy groups, Kazancı Holding continues its investments and activities in agriculture and tourism.
Personal life
Cemil Kazancı is the son of Ali Metin Kazancı,[3], the founder and honorary chairman of Kazancı Holding. He is married and a father of one child.
Wealth
In 2023, Cemil Kazancı ranked 7th on Forbes' list of the richest people in Turkey with a wealth of $2.5 billion.[4]
