Caydyn Liam Lendrum is a South African author, born October 19th, 2005 in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.[1] He began writing in 2017 at 12 while still in primary school with small comics with his friend. He would publish his first novel 7 years later in October 2024.
Writing
In 2022, Caydyn wrote the original screenplay for a Minecraft-based animated series which was cancelled in early 2024. After this, he began to write the novel adaptation which was renamed to The Crestoran Odyssey which was released in three parts, Heroes Inception, Blood and Sacrifice, and The War of Dignity.[2] The third instalment was released as a 250 page combination of all three.[3]
On November 3rd, 2024, Caydyn Lendrum announced a new novel which would go by the project name Dark Light would be coming soon in early 2025. The books was revealed to be prequel to the War of Dignity novel. On December 17th, 2024, Caydyn announced that the prequel novel, now titled Crestora and the Dark Light, would be released on March 1st, 2025.[3]
