Buimpal is a small village of 412 hectares in Satari Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Buimpal depends on VALPOI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Buimpal is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Buimpal's pin code is 403530[5], and village code is 00015100. The area of Buimpal is segregated as 383.65 hectares unirrigated, the 18.89 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 9.06 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Buimpal has Two banks and One credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of VALPOI and North Goa to sell country liquor and make their living.
