Bruno Silva Santos is a portuguese researcher in immunology and the vice-director of Instituto de Medicina Molecular João Lobo Antunes (iMM)[1]. Bruno is a full professor in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon since 2022[2].

Career

Bruno Silva-Santos obtained his PhD in Immunology from the University College London, UK, in 2002, working on thymic T cell development under the supervision of Mike Owen at The London Research Institute (Cancer Research UK). Bruno developed his post-doctoral work on gamma-delta T cell differentiation and activation with Adrian Hayday at King’s College London[3].
