Bruno Ciroussel, born in Lyon in 1964, is a https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Swiss businessman. He is the principal shareholder and president of Intertech Venture SA, based in https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fribourg_(ville_suisse)%7CFribourg, and currently active in the European, American and Asian markets. He is an engineer and author of the “Aitek methodology” dedicated to AutoML, now in its 5th edition, and has implemented his methodology in a universal AutoML platform: the “Aitek Engine”, applicable in multiple functional domains such as banking, insurance, healthcare, logistics and telecom. He has also adapted his Aitek platform for deployment in the territorial surveillance, Homeland, and customs security sectors and delivered through Squadbotik SA, a specialized Swiss-based corporation under his presidency. Bruno Ciroussel is an author, lecturer and speaker on various issues encompassing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artificial_intelligence%7CArtificial Intelligence, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machine Learning as well as the impact of these and other technologies on business, security, government and the democratic system.

Studies and training

Enriched by multiple cultural backgrounds, Bruno Ciroussel has developed a strong international outlook. From an early age, he was passionate about applied mathematics. After obtaining a DUT in electrical engineering and industrial computer science in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Lyon, he joined the École Polytechnique de Lausanne, where he studied and conceptualized a methodology based on Machine Learning. As he explains in his interviews, he enjoys demystifying Machine Learning to its most simple expression: statistics and probability in algorithmic form, representing a subset of artificial intelligence.

Through behavioral data analysis, these self-learning algorithms are designed to further knowledge through the classification of information and the prediction of behaviors. These predictions are yielded from the automatic and meticulous monitoring of the observational data produced by the environment. The goal of this monitoring is to collect and process information that will permit market evolution predictions and the detection of the latent needs of the "targets". Bruno Ciroussel teaches Security and Human Factors at ILCE, as well as Strategic Decision-Making and State Performance at ENA in Tunis where he is a founding member of the Laboratory on State Performance.

During his research years, he developed a methodology dedicated to automated Machine Learning. Seizing the opportunities of artificial intelligence, he developed his research in collaboration with European universities, including Bordeaux, Lyon and Lausanne, but also with Morocco and Tunisia. He has supervised numerous PFE, professional and research Masters, as well as PhD’s.

Through combined research on teaching and business, Ciroussel transforms this work into concrete commercial concepts and products through the start-ups he has founded and continues to lead. In 2022, the release of the latest version of his platform comprises more than 21,000 work days, the result of 15 years of research, development and evolution of his software platform. Ciroussel has more than 25 years of experience in the field of security and information processing. In addition to the Presidencies of the companies that conduct his research, he is a professor of computer science and data science and Dean of the department of computer science at the private university of ATAFOM. page#section.

Concept and Platform

The Manual Aitek 1.0 concept and BI++ (Business Intelligence increment) is a semantic data-driven BPM methodology with risk and performance as its backbone, generating a data warehouse, including data cleansing and data likelihood qualification, and a forward-looking reporting tool with behavioral data mining. The 1.0 concepts were implemented in the integrated BI++ 2004-2010 solution which received the Federal CTI Startup Award (2009).

The Manual Aitek 2.0 concept and GPS (Global Performance System)

The 2.0 concepts have been implemented in the GPS integrated solution (2010-201) which is the evolution of BI++, by adding business performance and risk as well as strategic alignment. The Machine Learning in the application of the information structuring methodology allows, firstly, for the building of a causal tree of business activities, as well as the automation of the organizational performance and risk optimization, and, subsequently, for the capacity to conduct simulations. This version includes a knowledge cartridge component. The GPS solution is maintained by the Business Investigation Corporation, which will cease to provide this scope of product in 2022.

The manual 3.0 concept and Copernicus

Copernicus is the natural evolution of GPS. It integrates the notion of an intelligent agent and an agent farm. It is the implementation of the manual 3.0 concept (2018-2020). This version remained at the laboratory level and has never been commercialized.

The manual 4.0 concept and Aitek 1.0 a complete redesign, in 2020, of the concept administered by an application alone that launches actions and alarms; a dynamic system driven by AI. Ciroussel’s team have integrated Machine Learning that generates additional Machine Learning and self-diagnosis, including connected objects within a matrix network that can be driven by a supervisor. Aitek synthesizes all the business experience capitalized in knowledge cartridges (Banking, Insurance, Telco, Health, State, Homeland and Customs security). Aitek is supported by the Swiss company, Intertech Venture SA.

The manual 5.0 Aitek 2.0 concept and Squadbotik 1.0

This new, 2021 version, integrates the notion of connected objects, Mesh communication, the notion of alarms on each abnormality (from connected objects, automatic performance diagnosis, processes or data). These alarms are either preventive or corrective. Each alarm triggers an action plan. The implementation of the 5.0 manual gives birth to Aitek 2.0, laid out in a coherent suite Aitek Portal, Aitek Engine and Aitek. The Homeland Security, Homeland and Customs security knowledge cartridges have been integrated into a customization of the Aitek 2.0 platform, named Squadbotik 1.0 and carried by the Swiss company Squadbotik SA www.squadbotik.ch
