Bruce Y. Lee

Bruce Y. Lee, MD, MBA is a computer modeler, writer, journalist, professor, and physician known for building and applying computer modeling and artificial intelligence (AI) in health.[1] He is currently a professor at the City University of New York Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy.[2][3] In the past he was an associate professor at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, executive director of the Global Obesity Prevention Center (GOPC), associate professor at the University of Pittsburgh.[4] Dr. Lee is the founder and executive director of Public Health Informatics, Computational, and Operations Research (PHICOR) which builds and utilizes computer models to understand and address issues in health, including the COVID-19 pandemic.[5][6] Dr. Lee is a Senior Contributor for Forbes, where he covers science and health.[7]
