Brittanya Karma (born Nguyễn Phương Linh, 22 March 1991 – 29 November 2020) was a Vietnamese-German hip-hop artist, vlogger, social media and reality television star. Karma started gaining followers online thanks to her series of videos chronicling her life in Germany. She was first noticed when a Facebook post in which she mocked her mother went viral in Vietnam.[1] In 2018, she participated in The Bachelor Vietnam Season 1. [2] She released her first debut Tự Tin on December 22, 2019. The music video, shot in Hamburg, gathered more than 4 million views on YouTube. Brittanya featured with Vietnamese pop queen Bảo Anh in her single Lười Yêu in February 2020. [3]
On November 29, 2020, Brittanya Karma died in Hamburg due to COVID-19 in Hamburg during the COVID-19 pandemic in Germany.[1][4][5]
