Brett Taylor (born October 3, 1988) is a Canadian professional stock car racing driver competing in the NASCAR Pinty's Series.

He holds the distinction of becoming the first driver from Alberta to win in the series.

NASCAR Pinty's Series career

Taylor began his career in the Pinty's Series in 2016, opting to only run road and street course events in Ontario.

He made his series debut at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park driving for the Scott Steckly-owned 22 Racing Team. Taylor finished 17th of 27 cars. He would go on to make two more starts in 2016.

In 2017, he again only ran three races on road and street courses.

For the 2018 season, Taylor contested 12 of the 13 races on the schedule. He ran for Rookie of the Year (award) and won it driving for Joey McColm. Taylor scored a best finish of eighth at Jukasa Motor Speedway.

Part way through the 2019 season, Taylor began driving cars prepared by Ed Hakonson. The boost in equipment helped him to his first career win in the season-ending race at Jukasa. Taylor led only the last lap in the race, passing Jason Hathaway on the last turn.
