Branko Peašinović (14.rujna, 1950. god. –) Former volleyball player and coach, and today a sports worker who actively participates in the work of the sports system of the City of Zagreb.
Biography
In the biography of Branko Peašinović, we highlight from his days in Pakrac that he was born in 1950 in Grubišno Polje, but he finished elementary school and high school in Pakrac. He started playing volleyball in Pakrac in the gymnasium team of professor Slavko Krejči, and continued after leaving to study in Zagreb in the Academic Volleyball Club "Mladost" from Zagreb, a multiple champion and winner of the CUP of the former state, with which he won one championship and a Cup.
In 1980, he returned to Pakrac, where he played volleyball in "Pakrac - Papuka" until 1983. During that time, the club entered the Second, then the First B League of the former state, and after excellent games, in 1981, he was chosen as Pakrac's Sportsman of the Year.
Along with volleyball, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, and studied volleyball in Ljubljana, while playing and coaching the team from Novi Mesto. He returns to the volleyball courts in Croatia as a coach and player, and after his playing career he is active in the veterans AOK "Mladost" and in the Sports Association of the City of Zagreb.[1]
