OccupationAmerican Football Wide Receiver

Brandon J. Glover (born January 21, 2004) commonly known as Bookie, is an American football wide receiver for Erskine College (Division II) Born on Long Island, NY, raised in North Bellport NY. Glover would look forward to continue his families legacy and play high school football in his hometown until he eventually relocated down south, where he attended Newton High School (GA) his freshman year without a football season due to late registration. Despite this set back, he made Newton's Freshmen Basketball team where he was surrounded by some of the best upcoming players in the state of Georgia, including one of his former teammate TJ Clark. He would later transfer his sophomore year to Hephzibah Comprehensive High School (GA) where he earned the “Rebel Scholar Athlete” Award, and became (2x) Top 5 in receiving yards in his region, graduating with 11 offers.

Junior year

Although his junior year was considered his "breakout year", Glover was getting little to no interest from schools at the time due to COVID. During the Summer of 2021, he would team up with rising talent around the CSRA for a 7V7 team called "MTAG".

MTAG was founded and coached by retired NFL star Raymond Webber. The team would attend Cam Newton's 7V7 Tournaments and play against some of the top recruiters in the nation at the time, such as 5 star Travis Hunter and 4 star Cayden Lee. Glover would also attend combines for Rivals, and camps for The MVP Camp, University of South Carolina, Reinhardt University, Georgia State University, and Georgia Southern University, just to get a feel for the next level.

Senior year

Towards the end of his senior year, his film had sparked offers from Erskine College, Beloit College, Avila University, University of Fort Lauderdale, Augusta United Graduate Academy, Georgia Knights Prep Academy, Sterling College, Misericordia University, Carthage University, Atlanta Institute of Business, and Western South Carolina Prep Academy. Colleges like LaGrange College, Reinhardt University, Thomas More University, St. John Fisher College were also very much interested in him as well.

Throughout his high school career, Glover was invited to the "Sac Academy GA HS Football Showcase", "Georgia VS. Florida High School Showcase", "You Are Athlete Regional Exposure Camp Series", 2021 "Podyum Preps All-American Bowl", and participated in the CSRA All Star Bowl 2x.

On March 15, 2022, Brandon J. Glover Committed to Erskine College (Division II) to continue his athletic/academic career.

Personal life

Glover is related to American singer, record producer, bandleader and actor James Brown, American actor, film director, and political activist Danny Glover, actor Miles Webb and Bellport's Hall of Famer Micah Barnes who committed to Hofstra to play football shortly after winning the '97 Long Island Championship.
