Brandon James Barzey is a Montserratian semi-professional Association football who plays as a midfielder for National League South club Hampton & Richmond Borough F.C. & Richmond Borough.

Career

Barzey joined Queens Park Rangers in 2012,[1] before eventually leaving the London-based side five years later, joining Staines Town F.C. Town upon his release.[2]

He then subsequently had spells at Hanworth Villa F.C. and Staines Town once again,[3] before earning a move to National League South side, Hampton & Richmond Borough F.C. & Richmond Borough in August 2021.[4] Prior to making his debut, Barzey spent time dual-registered with Walton & Hersham F.C. & Hersham and his former club, Hanworth Villa.[5] That same month he made his debut for The Beavers, featuring for 15 minutes in a 2–1 home defeat to Havant & Waterlooville F.C.|Havant & Waterlooville.[6] A month later, Barzey joined Southern Football League Premier Division South side, Chesham United F.C. on another dual-registration deal.[7] He went onto feature eleven times, scoring four goals[8] before returning to Hampton and strongly finishing the 2021–22 campaign.

International career

Eligible to represent Montserrat national football team, Antigua and Barbuda national football team and Barbuda and England national football team at international level, Barzey received a maiden call-up to the Montserrat national football team|Montserrat senior side in May 2022[9] and went onto make his debut during a 2–1 defeat to Guyana national football team|Guyana, featuring for the final 20 minutes.[10]
