Music & Songwriting Career

Rempel began his music career in the early 2000s, playing guitar and singing in various bands. He formed High Valley with his brother Curtis in 2007, and the duo soon signed a record deal with Open Road Recordings. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2010, which included the hit single "I Will Stand by You". The album was a critical and commercial success in Canada, earning the duo several awards and nominations, including a Juno Award nomination for Country Album of the Year.[2]

High Valley released their second album, Love Is a Long Road, in 2012, followed by County Line in 2014, which was their breakthrough album in the United States. The album produced the hit singles "Make You Mine" and "She's with Me", which reached No. 7 and No. 6, respectively, on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

In 2016, High Valley signed with Atlantic Records and released their fourth studio album, Dear Life. The album included the hit single "I Be U Be", which reached No. 20 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. The duo also embarked on a world tour, performing in countries such as Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Rempel has also co-written songs for other artists, including "I'm Not Okay" for Halsey's debut album Badlands, and "You Gotta Be" for Kira Isabella's album Caffeine & Big Dreams.

Other endeavors

In August 2022, Rempel announced that he was teaming up with fellow country music singer Jennifer Wayne (of Runaway June) to start a home renovation, and house flipping TV series called "Flip U" (short for "Flip University") that follows the singers as they partner to teach Nashville-area residents how to flip houses and turn a profit.[3]

Rempel is married to Rebekah Rempel and they have two children together. He is known for his strong Christian faith and has spoken about how it has influenced his music and personal life.
