Brad Ilott is an Australian cricketer who currently plays for the Northern Territory in Cricket Australia's domestic competitions. He is a right-arm offspinner and lower order right-handed batsman.
Early life
Ilott attended Pacific Lutheran College and Mountain Creek State High School on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, graduating from the latter in 2014.[1][2][3]
He studied journalism at USC, graduating in 2022. He moved to Canberra in 2023 to pursue playing opportunities.
Career
Ilott currently plays Premier Cricket for PINT Cricket Club in the Darwin & Districts Cricket Competition (NT Premier Cricket) and North Canberra Gungahlin Cricket Club in ACT Premier Cricket. He also plays franchise one-day and T20 cricket for a variety of teams, recently featuring for Miami Blaze in the MAX60, Wanderers in the SCA competition and Phantom Cricket Club in the Qatar Premier League.
He was selected in the Australian Men's Indigenous team following the completion of the 2025 National Indigenous Cricket Championships.[4][5][6][7]
In October 2025, Ilott was selected to represent the Northern Territory in the Multicultural Cup, a professional T20 tournament played in Darwin.[8]
Ilott joined the ACT Comets squad for the 2024/25 and 2025/26 domestic seasons and has also represented the NT Strike in the Top End T20 Series.[9]
In November 2025, Ilott was added to the Kathmandu Gorkhas squad as an injury replacement player in the Nepal Premier League.[10]
In February 2026, Ilott signed with Greenvale Kangaroos in the Victorian Premier Cricket competition.
